Terms and Conditions
1. Site Operator
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between [COMPANY], registration number [REG NO], with registered office at [ADDRESS], email: [EMAIL], phone: [PHONE] (hereinafter the ‘Seller’ or ‘we’), and any person who browses or places an order through the online store peptamed.eu (hereinafter the ‘Customer’). By accessing the site and placing an order, the Customer confirms having read these Terms and Conditions and accepts them in full.
2. Scope
The online store peptamed.eu offers research peptides and related materials intended exclusively for laboratory and scientific research purposes. The site is available in Bulgarian, English, Romanian and Hungarian, and all prices are displayed in euro (EUR).
3. Important: Products for Research Use Only
All products offered on peptamed.eu are intended solely for scientific research purposes (research use only). The products:
- are NOT medicinal products and have not been approved by any regulatory authority for the treatment, prevention or diagnosis of any disease;
- are NOT foods, food supplements or cosmetic products;
- are NOT intended for human use in any form — oral, injectable, topical or otherwise;
- are NOT intended for veterinary use or for administration to animals outside a controlled laboratory environment.
The Seller makes no claims, gives no advice and provides no warranties regarding any effects of the products on humans or animals. Any use outside a research context is entirely at the Customer’s own risk and responsibility and constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
4. Customer Declarations
By placing an order, the Customer declares and warrants that they:
- are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity;
- purchase the products solely for lawful scientific research and laboratory purposes;
- will not use the products for human or veterinary use and will not supply them to third parties for such use;
- have the necessary knowledge and facilities for the safe handling and storage of research materials;
- have provided true and current order information.
5. Ordering and Conclusion of the Contract
An order is placed by adding products to the cart and completing the checkout form. After submission, the Customer receives an automatic confirmation that the order has been received. The contract of sale is concluded at the moment the Seller confirms dispatch of the order. The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order in case of suspected misuse, inability to deliver, or an obvious technical error in the price, in which case the Customer is notified and any amounts paid are refunded.
6. Prices
All prices on the site are in euro (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are not included in the product prices and are shown separately before the order is finalised. The Seller may change prices at any time; changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
7. Payment
The following payment methods are accepted:
- Cash on delivery — payment in cash or by card to the courier upon receipt (in Bulgaria via Speedy; in other countries where the service is available);
- Bank transfer — to the bank account stated in the order confirmation. The order is dispatched once the payment has been received.
8. Liability and Limitations
The Seller warrants that the products conform to the purity and composition specifications described on the site at the time of dispatch. The Seller’s liability is limited to the value of the purchased products. The Seller shall not be liable for: (a) damage arising from use of the products in breach of these Terms and Conditions, including any use on humans or animals; (b) improper storage or handling after delivery; (c) indirect or consequential damage, loss of profit or loss of data; (d) short delivery delays caused by the courier or by force majeure. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory provisions of law.
9. Applicable Law and Disputes
Matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and applicable European Union law. If the Customer is a consumer within the meaning of the law of their country of residence, they also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that law. Disputes shall be resolved by negotiation and, failing that, by the competent court. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Amendments and Contact
The Seller may update these Terms and Conditions; the current version is always published on this page with the date of the last change. For questions: [EMAIL], [PHONE].
